Maggie Stiefvater – The Raven Boys Audiobook

The Raven Boys Audiobook – (The Raven Cycle Book#1)

From what I understand, this book, either we like it or not. Personally, I enjoyed my reading. I had a great time with the magic of Maggie Stiefvater.

Blue is a young teenager who lives only with women. At home, there are always people. Blue’s mother is a medium, Blue did not inherit her mother’s gifts because Blue does not predict the future and does not feel the life of objects … On the other hand, she amplifies divine powers when she is nearby. One evening, she is going to help her half-aunt Neeve, and will see her first spirit appear, except that it is not a coincidence according to Neeve. And from there, the adventure will begin for Blue.

Since her childhood, Blue has been told over and over again: “If she embraces the love of her life, he will die”. She’s been living with this prediction for a long time, but maybe the love of her life is about to knock on her door.

Blue is an independent young woman, she has never known and doesn’t even know her first name, but she doesn’t mind at all. She was brought up by her mother, aunts, cousins. She goes to a public high school and has several small jobs nearby to earn a little money. He is an autonomous character, whom we appreciate a lot.

Gansey, Adem, Ronan and Noah, four boys who go to Aglionby – a private high school where well-off people go – that Blue absolutely must avoid attending, yet fate will not keep them away for long. All four have a different background, a different character.

Noah is a shy character, who doesn’t talk much, he likes to be alone. Ronan is a strong character who has character and doesn’t hide it. He does as he pleases but he is a faithful friend. Adam is a kind character and who succeeds on his own, he works a lot to pay for high school – because these parents are not rich – he is a tender character, we necessarily love. Then there’s Gansey, you’d think he’s the spoiled rotten daddy’s boy but actually he’s adorable in his own way, his story is heartwarming.

You can’t appreciate one character more than another in this book, we appreciate them all.

These five characters of Maggie Stiefvater – The Raven Boys Audiobook are the most important in the story, then we have the Latin teacher, Blue’s aunts and cousins, the boys’ families, in short, there are a lot of characters in this book. Moreover, the beginning was quite difficult to understand who is who, because the author goes straight to the heart of the matter, but by dint of reading we get used to the characters and the story.

The more I got from the end, the more I wondered how to go to finish this first volume, I just hoped that the author does not end this volume in a horrible end for the reader. Finally, the end of this novel is calm, we still have questions but the end is correct, I am almost a little disappointed with this calm ending, the author could have given us a capital detail for the sequel to arouse curiosity readers.

In conclusion, a difficult start with all the characters but a gripping plot. As soon as a chapter is finished, we long to read the rest to find out what will happen. the author’s style is fun to read, the universe she created is very interesting, I got caught up in Glendower’s Prophecy, in discovering ley lines… I still have questions, so I would continue this saga with great pleasure!
